This is a Z-project confocal microscope image of triple negative breast cancer cell MDA-MB-231. Both green and red are F-actin stained by Pholloindin-TRITC. Green shows the ruffles induced by Oleate, a monounsaturated acid. Red shows the bottom cytoskeleton. This picture shows the dynamic morphology of cancer cells with clear protrusions showing their invasive feature.
