The objective of the Félix-Antoine Aublet Research Scholarship is to offer the opportunity to students supervised by a member of the CERMO-FC to carry out research related to the advancement of knowledge on the mechanisms or treatments of orphan diseases (ODs). Among the ODs, priority in the selection of applications will be given to Hunter syndrome (ORPHA:580), or mucopolysaccharidosis type II (MPS II), a rare, degenerative, multisystemic lysosomal storage disease. Applications for other similar diseases, with a mechanistic link to Hunter syndrome, are also sought.
