2019 Édition - First symposium

May 17, 2019 at Montreal

+ 160 attendees

Pr Jacques P. Tremblay - CRCHUQ

10 student conferences

+ 60 poster research projects

The first symposium of the CERMO-FC was held on May 17, 2019 at the SAT of Montreal at 1201 Boulevard Saint-Laurent.

With more than 160 participants, 10 oral presentations and more than 60 posters, this event was an excellent opportunity for researchers and students members of the Center to better know the diversity of our expertise, our research interests and thus open the way to new collaborations.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Jacques P. Tremblay of the CHUQ Research Center during a plenary conference entitled: “Development of Therapies for Hereditary Diseases Based on Gene Modification with CRISPR / Cas9 Technology”. A pioneer in the use of genome editing technologies, Pr Tremblay’s work is focused on the development of therapies for orphan genetic diseases. Learn more on Pr Tremblay research
